Title: Pakistan's Journey: 1947-2023 - Part 2
Building Up the Economy, Making Life Better, and Being Friends with the World
Making Money and Growing Strong (2010s-2020s)
In the 2010s, Pakistan started doing things to make its economy better. The government took steps to collect more money, manage taxes well, and reduce the money it spent. These changes, along with investing in things like power and roads, began to show good results. A plan called Pakistan Vision 2025 gave a clear path for making the country's economy better, helping people more, and linking up with other countries nearby.
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) became a big deal during this time. It brought lots of money into Pakistan for projects like power plants, roads, and factories. These projects helped make Pakistan's roads and buildings better and also helped the country work together with others nearby.
Making Life Better and Some Problems
Besides the money stuff, Pakistan also did things to improve how life is for people. Schools started having more students, and more kids went to the doctor when they were sick. But some problems still stuck around, like some people not being treated fairly because of their gender, or not having good schools and doctors nearby.
Pakistan worked hard to stop the bad things happening because of terrorism and fighting. The army did things to keep everyone safe, and the government made rules to fight against bad ideas that caused these problems.
Friends and Talking to Other Countries
Pakistan didn't just think about itself – it also made friends with other countries. China and Afghanistan became important friends, and working together helped everyone be more peaceful and do better in their countries. Pakistan also helped talk to different groups in Afghanistan to find a peaceful way for them to agree.
Looking Ahead: Figuring Out What's Next
So, from 1947 to 2023, Pakistan has faced many challenges, made things better, and tried to be friends with everyone. The journey wasn't always easy, but it taught Pakistan how to stand strong and move forward. Looking into the future, Pakistan needs to keep improving things for people, making sure everyone is treated right, and taking advantage of the opportunities that come its way. By doing this, Pakistan can shape a future that's even brighter and better.
